• Percussive action: produced by a pneumatic drilling hammer powered by compressed air.

A key requirement for operating this drilling system is the use of an air compressor. The compressor supplies the compressed air required to operate the impact mechanism. Without a suitable compressed-air source, the percussive function of the drilling system cannot operate.
